Now that you have purchased your furniture and have been okayed by the Office of Education to operate your hagwon business, you can add a few things to your interior and exterior to make your hagwon look like a great place to learn English.

Here are a few things you can do:

1. Put up posters of inspirational people

2. Put up inspirational quotes

3. Put up your logo or a nice design

4. Put up bulletin boards to post important material

5. Get some signs for the outside of your building or your door

6. Put up some material in front of your hagwon

7. Put up your qualifications

8. Put up class rules

9. etc.

There are so many things you can add to the walls of your building. Let me share 7 things we added.

1. As mentioned before, we have two signs on the outside of our building and one side that hangs above our front door.

2. A bulletin board next to the outside wall beside our front door.

On this board we posted class information or events. Also, I had a plastic case that held our brochure. I always made sure there were 10 brochures in there so that I could count how many were taken.

In the end, we barely considered the extra things we have put up in our hagwon. At first, we were really worried about making our interior look good, and it should look as good as possible. But, once you get a good reputation, your interior comes secondary. One of the best community math hagwons didn’t have modern heaters and it was often cold in there. But, parents still sent their children there because they got good results.
